CIRCUS RUMMY

Directions for playing the game "CIRCUS RUMMY"

Shuffle and deal seven cards to each player, and place the remainder of the pack, face down, in the centre of the table to draw from.

Dealer plays first by drawing one card from the pack in the centre and then laying in front of him as many sets of three cards as he can, whose numbers are alike, or whose numbers run consecutively, e. g. 3 — 6's, 3—10's, or 10, 11, 12, or A, 6, 7, etc.

He then discards one card, face up, beside the face down pack in the centre, The next player follows in a like manner, except that players can now draw from the face up or face down packs.

The object is to play out all the cards in the hand and as soon as one player has done this, the others count the numbers on the cards left in their hands. The Ace card counts as one. The total of these numbers is the players score for the round. After four complete rounds, each player adds his scores from each round, and the player with the lowest score is the winner.
