Illustrated Mythology Game
1) by The Fireside Game Co. (The Cincinnati Game Co. successors)

The game is based on Roman and Greek mythology with the Roman name first and the Greek name in brackets.

This original version was copyrighted in 1901 but was in production for many years, hence the diferent coloured boxes.
There are 2 editions of this game.
Originally there were 60 cards. 6 sets lettered A - F with 10 individual cards to each set.
The sets were :
A. Gods; B. Goddesses; C. Hero's (Chosed Mortals); D. Heroines (Fair Women); E and F Myths (aids of the Gods).
The second version had 52 cards:
2 instruction cards and the first 4 sets of the of the original edition with a combined E & F 5th set.

The object of the game is to separate cards into their different sets in numerical order, either 1 through to 10 or 10 to 1.
You can also play the game using the same rules as Authors.

2) by Merrimack Publishing Corp.

This firm seem to specialize in reproducing old card games and childrens books.

This version of the game was produced in the 1960s or 70s and is the same as the original second edition except there are 2 blank cards and an instruction leaflet.
