Edmund Dulac
This famous illustrator was a Frenchman born in Toulouse in 1882. In his twenties he moved to London and quickly gained a reputation by illustrating a number of expensive versions of children's classics. All of the books he has illustrated, by their very nature, fetch very good prices in the secondary market.
