Joyce Lankester Brisley
She is the creator of " Milly - Molly - Mandy" (Millicent Margaret Amanda) who first appeared in "Milly Molly Mandy Stories" published by Harrap in 1928. These long running adventures appeared sporadically until 1967. She died in 1978, aged 82.
